CAITHNESS AND SUTHERLAND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CaSPlan)

Posted on

Highland Council’s consultation period of The Main Issues Report for Caithness & Sutherland has started and runs until 12 noon on Thursday 29 January 2015.

The Caithness and Sutherland Local Development Plan (CaSPlan) will set out our vision and development strategy for the area over the next 20 years. Once formally adopted it will replace the Caithness Local Plan and Sutherland Local Plan and will be used to guide decisions on planning applications.

Highland Council have prepared the Main Issues Report to consult on what the plan should deliver. It is a discussion document that forms the basis of their consultation.

They want you to tell us what you think about the Main Issues Report and the issues, outcomes, strategy and site options they have suggested. This is the main point at which you can influence the Plan. The responses they receive now will be used to shape the Proposed Plan.
