The Scottish Government is offering “Green Homes Cashback” vouchers to assist with improving the energy performance of domestic dwellings.
Householders (occupier or landlord) can apply for financial assistance of up to £1,200 under this scheme to contribute towards energy improvement measures such as insulation, double glazing, a new boiler or draft proofing.
Further funding of up to £500 is also available through the “Landlord Green Appliance Scheme” to landlords to assist with replacement of inefficient appliances such as fridges and washing machines.

Help and advice is also available for businesses through the “Resource Efficient Scotland” programme. This one-stop-shop hopes to help businesses use energy and other resources more efficiently in order to lower bills and protect the environment.

Due to an increasing workload, we are looking to expand our rural practice department. Our office is based at Pluscarden, near Elgin, Moray. We currently have a staff of 15 and our core activity is property consultancy and rural estate management.
We are currently accepting applications for both a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor as well as a Trainee Chartered Surveyor.
The successful applicants will join our rural practice team, which consists of four fully qualified land agents. Both positions are full-time, working Monday to Friday, and salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
